Just Sing Ladies Coaches
Heather Burns
Alcm, DipLCM, BEd (hons)
Choir Director
Heather has over twenty-eight years’ experience working as an MD. She has worked with many children’s choirs and school choirs, having been head of music in three primary schools. She has also conducted the Girls Brigade NI choir and really enjoyed her role as Co MD at Lisburn Harmony Ladies Choir.
She has vast experience singing in a variety of local choirs including the Ulster Operatic, Grosvenor Choral and Sing Live. She has had the opportunity to perform in a variety of arenas including the SSE, the Ulster Hall, the Waterfront Hall, Windsor Castle and the Royal Albert Hall.
Heather’s wide variety of choral experiences have helped to expand and develop her knowledge and understanding of the voice. She has also studied classical voice, achieving two vocal diplomas. Heather is also a certified Vocal Health First Aider.
She is loving her role as MD of Just Sing and believes that singing should be accessible to everyone and most importantly it should be fun!
TRACY McLEAN
ALCM, LTCL, BMUS(HONS)
ACCOMPANIST
Tracy has twenty-nine years’ experience as both Head of Music in three secondary schools and one grammar school.
She also has vast experience as an accompanist to successful choirs and instrumentalists near and far. Tracy has been Musical Director for Musical Theatre and local drama societies and has exceptional knowledge of both ensemble and solo singing.
With a wealth of experience and success behind her, Tracy is passionate about her work and the health benefits music brings to the community, both young, old and from diverse backgrounds.
As a talented, vocalist, pianist, violinist and repetiteur Tracy has built up a list of qualifications over the past years.
Tori Hannath
BEdSC (Hons)
Choir Manager
Tori has been a primary school teacher for many years, although has taken a break from her teaching career to focus on being a ‘hands on mum’ to four very active children. She has a passion for running, yoga, golf, hockey and of course music. She loves to sing and play the piano, achieving her Grade 8.
During lockdown, a stressful time for all, Tori realised the importance of how singing made everyone in her house feel…uplifted, energised, and happy.
Consequently, after a few discussions with Heather and Tracy, Just Sing choirs were born!
In only a few months the choirs have brought much joy, happiness and excitement to lots of children, parents, and lady singers in and around the Portadown area. The new friendships and sense of community that has been created is beyond Tori’s expectations and makes her so proud to be part of these ever-growing choirs of talented kids and ladies.

JUDITH CORNETT TOPLEY
ALCM, BA (HONS).
CONDUCTOR
Judith runs the local school Cornett Music and Drama and has been teaching various disciplines for almost 14 years. She has a passion for helping students build confidence and technique, whilst maintaining a positive environment. She loves working on individual progression, but with a background in music, drama and dance, also really thrives in the creativity and versatility that group work provides.
Judith has a BA (Hons) degree in Drama and an ALCM diploma in Music Theatre performance, as well as a wide knowledge of other genres. After university, she toured with an Art NI production as Stage Manager. Over the years she has performed in various productions, enjoys writing and recording original music and singing at weddings.
Judith is excited to work with the Just Sing Kids!
BRIAN GREENE,
LLCM,ALCM, BMus
ACCOMPANIST
Brian has 21 years experience of teaching music in post primary sector and is currently Head of Music at St Ronans College.
He is in demand as a répétiteur and as an accompanist locally and further afield in Northern Ireland. He is a versatile musician having been Musical Director for various amateur music and drama societies, pit musician, playing keyboard in many productions, jazz and concert ensembles, accompanist to choral, both vocal and instrumental solo, quartet and chamber ensembles.
Brian is also organist and choir master with his local parish. Brian is looking forward to working with all involved with Just Sing
